Merve Durgut
Research Assistant
Merve Durgut is a PhD student in Design at Arizona State University, and a research assistant at the DESmart Lab. She holds a Bachelors’ degree in Architecture, and has received a Master of Science degree in Architecture from Izmir Institute of Technology, Türkiye in 2021. Her research interests include human-centric design, energy efficient buildings, human-light interactions, and the effects of lighting on comfort, health and well-being. She is currently working on a research study where she explores the impact of lighting conditions in the context of the physical environment of veterans.
